'Lesbian Fairy Tale Twist-Up' contest

Hi there everyone, after real life got in the way for some time, I’m back to announce a brand new contest!  As I said at the end of the last contest, this one will be for all of you writers out there.  

The classics are classics for a reason; they resonate with every generation, because the morals and motifs are everlasting.  But, have you ever thought about how you would change a fairy tale if you were given a chance?  Did you ever wish that Cinderella ran to her Princess, instead of her Prince?  Or maybe you always thought that the evil Queen just couldn’t accept her feelings for Snow White.  If so, then you are in luck!  The task I now put before you is this: adapt a classic fairy tale to include some form of lesbian relationship between key characters.  Go wild and have fun with it.  Adapt it in any way you feel will tell YOUR fairy tale the best.  There are absolutely no constraints on how you change the world your fairy tale takes place in as long as the lesbian relationship is there.  And don’t forget that it is your fellow group members that will be deciding the winners.        

Rules
1. Entrants must be members of TLC.
2. All entries must be new deviations, uploaded for this contest.
3. Entries must be uploaded between contest start and end dates and submitted to TLC's "Lesbian Fairy Tale Twist-Up" folder.
4. There is no minimum word limit but entries should not be more than 3000 words.
5. Your artist’s comments must include that this was written for the “Lesbian Fairy Tale Twist-Up” contest and what fairy tale your entry is based on.
6. As there are younger members of the group, mature content will be accepted, but must be strictly labeled as such.  Let’s try to keep it as clean as possible.
7. This should be a given but I guess I’ll make it a point anyway, just in case.  ANY submissions containing rape or pedophilia will be automatically disqualified and the deviation will be reported immediately.  

Contest Start/End Dates
This contest will be officially open as of Monday February 13th, 2012 and will end Sunday March 11th, 2012.

Prizes
All entrants will win the feeling of accomplishment that comes with creation and the respect of their peers for taking a chance on entering.  But, I know that none of that is as cool as actual prizes so with that in mind, anyone who would like to donate prizes for this contest feel free to note me with your donations.  I again will have a points donation pool available on my front page as well.  Remember, you can enter the contest and donate a prize to it (donating will not increase your chances of winning). I would also like to give a big thank you again to all of the prize givers in the last contest for all of their donations.

Judging
Judging for this contest will be very straight forward.  At the end of the contest I will create a poll of all the entries and all group members will have the chance to cast their vote.  The top three voted for entries will be the winners.
